I was looking to improve the mains conditioning of my system, as I was unsatisfied with the variations caused by electrical disturbances.
I tested several devices, including the PS Audio P10 conditioner, the Audioquest Niagara 3000 power filter and the Inakustik AC-3500P. Each of them improved the sound, but stability remained problematic. The sound would often become either too soft or too harsh.
Then I tried the Missing Bond Energy 2 power filter. Not only was the sonic stability perfectly in place, but I also noticed a clear improvement in imaging, dynamics and timbre compared to the other power treatments. The sound remained consistent at any time of day. I would say it is probably the most indispensable element for unlocking the full potential of other equipment, without limiting it. I had been looking for a power treatment of such quality for several years.
I also tested the Energy power cable. It is certainly an excellent cable, bringing energy into the bass frequencies, remarkable presence and a wide, deep soundstage. There is nothing comparable at this price point, or even in products three times the price.
Eager to get the most out of my audio system, I was on the hunt for power cables. I started browsing classified ad websites and came across a Missing Bond cable listing. My first impression when listening with this cable was of music played in a cocoon of purity, with an unimaginable control of silences. The sonic message is refined yet remains detailed. Harshness is eliminated and the result is very classy.
Prioritise this cable on your source if you don't plan to equip all your components.

Hello — I would like to share the discovery of a world I never suspected existed. For over 30 years I’ve owned a pair of 1980s Klipschorns, a Halgorithme stereo integrated amplifier based on 1930s PX25 aubergine power triodes, and for streaming a first-generation Schiit Yggdrasil DAC (10 years old) and an Auralic streamer. The Klipschorns were the foundation of my system, followed by the single-ended triode amps — for which I paid great attention to NOS tube selection.
I had never paid attention to mains power or interconnect cables, except for my speaker cables of the time, which I thought were good. I listened to music via CD, but couldn’t get anywhere with streaming. I had of course tried well-regarded (and very expensive) power cables and power strips — but they always killed the dynamics, and worse.
Then one day, a friend mentioned Monsieur Hai — designer and maker of the Missing Bond audiophile product line: power filters and interconnect cables. I contacted Hai, who has since become a friend. He came to my home to listen and discover my system. He could see the potential was there — but that work was needed to optimise each component and help them communicate better together.
Very practically, Hai came back several times with different cables and a power conditioner. The power conditioner, combined with different power cables for the amplifier and DAC, never left! My digital streaming setup finally started making Music!
We then applied the same approach to the speaker and interconnect cables. Today I have a system of superb musicality — breathing, airy, alive and dynamic. In truth, my electronics were excellent, but underexploited. Working on the mains power and connection quality was astounding.
I’ve met several Missing Bond customers with whom we share our experiences and our progress. Everyone is delighted.

It's now been almost two years since I discovered Haï's magnificent Missing Bond products. And I didn't resist long before replacing all the cabling in my system with Missing Bond cables — power, interconnect and speaker. Yes, I am now full Missing Bond.
It all started the day I tested a single, very first Missing Bond interconnect cable in my system. And immediately — the Wow effect! I can't believe my ears. Yet I've heard all kinds of interconnects pass through... But here, something truly special is happening. Like an obvious truth...
The rest of the story, you can imagine... I rushed to replace all the cabling. With each additional link, a new revelation.
I also tried the Missing Bond power filter. Again, impossible to resist. A monumental gain in transparency, openness and accuracy. This component is equally indispensable.
Today, my pleasure in listening to my system has never been greater. A true addiction...

Over two years ago, I met Hai, the creator of Missing Bond cables, through a network of passionate audiophiles. Everyone was praising the sonic qualities and unique design of the cables — with the rare advantage of being able to test them at home.

I've never heard an RJ45 cable make so much music as the Missing Bond — and yet I've owned plenty of Ultra HDGs… the Missing Bond completely strips away the digital character! I say this because I had actually gone back to a basic cable. I didn't want to hear another word about RJ45 — then I spotted your Missing Bond listing! I was not expecting much from this cable. But I am stunned. Thank you so much for this discovery.
« My path into digital streaming:
A 10m Belden RJ45 from the router into an LHY Audio FMC — out via Cisco fibre — into an LHY SW6 switch — isolated output via Acoustic Revive LAN-1 — then into a Stack Audio filter — and finally yours into the streamer.
At last, an RJ45 cable that sounds right, with a beautiful bandwidth.
Everything is in place, from the shimmering highs to the tight, controlled bass. But what’s most remarkable is the timing. Information reaches your ears at exactly the right speed — just enough to draw you into the music. I never once found myself pulled out of a listening session by harsh highs or bloated lows. It holds together even on the grandest passages.
There is a real sense of mastery. This cable is truly astonishing — you end up forgetting it’s there entirely. That’s the whole point.

I welcomed Mr Hai Nguyen, creator of the Missing Bond cables. Mr Nguyen travelled from Paris to Lille so we could try his cables on my system.
First of all — and I am grateful to him for this — the moment was a very pleasant one, shared between fellow enthusiasts….
Let me quickly describe my system, built around digital streaming (Qobuz). Speakers: Quellis 3 Premium; amplifier: VAC 70/70 Renaissance (8 × 300B); DAC: Eisen with valve output stage; streamer: ROSE RS130.
Two REL 5Tx subwoofers.
My cabling was mostly Audioquest (Thunder, Blizzard and Monsoon power cables, Diamond RJ45 and USB for sources). We replaced three power cables (two Blizzard and one Monsoon) with Missing Bond cables — one on the DAC and two on the amplifier (dual mono).
The result was immediate and spectacular… Far greater presence, more detail, tighter bass, and more… I was stunned by the impact on my system.
We then connected two RJ45 cables — and again the result was striking. Everything became more natural, more ‘sensuous’, too.
At price points that are relatively accessible compared to equivalent market offerings, the value these cables deliver is exceptional.
They stayed on my system! I am currently testing a power filter that seems cut from the same cloth.

Missing Bond is a small maker well worth discovering — in the tradition of France’s great artisanal audio workshops. Carefully chosen materials and tried-and-tested techniques, no hype or smoke and mirrors, meticulous workmanship, and the opportunity to borrow equipment for home trials on your own system.
And that is truly where it matters most.
I started with power cables for my two mono blocks, then tried speaker cables, a pair of XLRs, and — the icing on the cake — the USB cable (all of this spread over six to eight months).
An undeniable expertise worthy of a true enthusiast, as my own listening comparisons at home have confirmed.
Dynamic and transparent, with a fine tonal balance — no emphasis or coloration, but rather a supple fluidity.
A particularly quiet noise floor, and quite beautiful: it reveals micro-detail without dulling the highs, which remain silky.
Instrument placement in the soundstage is well-defined and clean, with no smearing or overlap.
Careful attention to electrical isolation and electromagnetic interference.
I would say: a relaxed, clean listening experience — a sense of ease, where ‘everything flows naturally’, lifting that veil of ‘I can’t quite put my finger on what’s digital’.
Everything is right there, in front of me.
